This is a unique opportunity to join a highly successful hedge fund based in Mayfair in diverse office management role with unlimited scope for progression! 

Although administrative and organisational capabilities are a given, we are looking for someone who wants to take on more operational work and ultimately work towards an executive role – next step COO!

A small enterprise, they also have a philanthropic foundation and operate with a high level of discretion.

The firm work to the highest standards but within an incredibly supportive framework and are seeking someone who naturally holds themselves accountable to this in their daily life. The ideal candidate will actively enjoy self-development and will thrive in an environment where coaching and mentoring is very much part of the structure. 

THE ROLE

An office-based role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the office, managing calls, liaising with suppliers as well as ad-hoc PA support to the team of investment professionals. The potential to expand this role is enormous but needs a proactive self-starter with great initiative to see where they can add additional value and get projects off the ground.

Initial projects could range from the annual benefits review and creation of board packs (research and writing as well as compiling) to further involvement with the foundation. 

There is no limit to how this role could be shaped and for the right person, with curiosity and ambition, they will invest heavily in ensuring their success.  Baseline duties include:

  • Managing the office, overseeing, agreeing & supervising contracts & providers for services
  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • PA support - managing diaries, travel and itineraries
  • Ordering office supplies, implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
  • Proactive involvement in projects across the operations spectrum

Salary dependent on experience. Up to £55k
