Events and Marketing Associate
We've just taken on an amazing opportunity for an Events and Marketing Associate to take on a role at a top investment management firm based in Victoria. It's a great company to be a part of - they're super friendly with around 200 in their London office yet they still have a lovely family feel despite being quite a large company. They do a lot of fun social activities like a sailing trip, wine tasting, ice skating, skiing (and the list goes on!). The culture here is very non-hierarchical and they want to make sure that employees at all levels have their opinion heard.
This is a truly great opportunity to get exposure to so many different aspects of marketing and events within the alternative investment sector. We're looking for an Events and Marketing Associate who is organised, proactive and has excellent stakeholder management. You'll need to be personable and a real team player, happy to get stuck into anything, no matter how big or small.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of events or marketing, ideally within the financial services sector.
The objective of this role is to provide support for the whole Marketing and Communications team. As part of this, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with 3rd party event companies
- Researching, budgeting and planning events
- Managing the invitation process
- Supporting Front Office teams with events
- CRM management
- PR and Social Media monitoring
- Logistic support
- Liaising with compliance to ensure everything is in line with the FCA
There will also be a chance to get involved in designing PowerPoint presentations, website updates and providing general administration for the team
