12-month FTC

Up to £60k

 

We’ve just taken on an incredible maternity contract opportunity at an international and sustainable focused investment management firm based in the west end!

 

THE CANDIDATE

 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced EA.  This is a 12-month maternity cover in a very fast paced environment, where the tasks you will be involved with go above the traditional diary and travel management. You’ll need to be proactive, confident working within financial services, discreet and have a willingness to undertake all aspects of the job.  The role will involve supporting a team and so the ability to multitask, possess good judgement and manage a high workload is ideal.

 

THE ROLE

 

Day to day you will support a team of five including two partners.  Alongside general administrative support, which will involve extensive calendar and travel management across different time zones you will have research responsibilities – including assisting analysts with presentation decks, some event management, Salesforce contact database management, expenses and other ad-hoc admin support.  Working closely with the US office you need to have a flexible approach to work and a good understanding of time zones.

 

In addition, you will provide some back up support to front of house, a responsibility shared across the team.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

 

·       Previous experience in a fast-paced finance or professional services firm

·       Excellent MS skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·       Professional and confident with strong interpersonal skills

·       Willingness to take ownership and be accountable

·       Proactive with ability to take initiative

·       Ability to influence, persuade and direct through excellent verbal and written communication

·       Excellent core organisation skills

·       Humble and muck in mentality

·       Enthusiasm and drive to provide a high level of support
