Team Assistant - Stockholm - Venture Capital Firm


Are you seeking an entry level administrative role in Stockholm working for a fun, very successful venture-capital firm that enjoys working together globally? Can you speak/write Swedish & English? This could be for you!

My client is a very well-established early-stage venture capital fund with a global presence, investing into tech-startups - including some of the biggest names in the Tech world! Over the past 18 months, my client’s portfolio of tech-startups has thrived and grown faster than it had in 25 years. They’ve added to their portfolio at a much faster rate than expected, and many of their companies exceeded forecasted revenue within that time. It’s safe to say this forward-thinking venture capital firm is doing very well, and so they are expanding!

There are investment professionals in global hubs in London, New York & Europe; their Stockholm team is busy and needs a dedicated Team Assistant to support them in the office locally, working with seven incredibly driven and friendly colleagues! You would have a lot of cross over with the New York & London offices, and you will also manage the office in Stockholm. You will have a chance to meet your colleagues overseas as the firm enjoys annual trips to visit each other around the world.

If you haven’t managed an office before but would like to learn, that’s fine! But you must have worked in an administrative role before, ideally for a global firm, and Swedish & English skills are important, as well as a helpful positive mindset! The role can evolve with your own growth within the firm.



Your responsibilities include:

  • Diary management and coordination of meeting / calls across time zones
  • Extensive travel arrangements –flights, transport, accommodation and restaurants (locally and internationally)
  • Event organisation – organising culture and team events and assisting at external events
  • General office management and overseeing day-to-day facilities operations
  • Managing office supplies/equipment, meeting rooms, couriers and dealing with vendors/service providers
  • Work with the other Team Assistants in London on global projects



  • Ideally 1-2 years’ minimum in an administrative / support role
  • Degree educated (or equivalent qualification)
  • Some time spent studying or working overseas is advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial / international mindset
  • Ability to combine hard work with fun!
  • Be a highly organized team player
  • Excellent English & Swedish communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
